P. B. Deepa Senthil Kumar, originally trained in Electronics and Communication Engineering (B.E. in ECE), found her true passion in education and child development. She transitioned into the field with a B.Ed. in Special Education and a Diploma in Montessori education, combining her technical background with a deeply human-centered approach to learning and creativity.

Deepa leads the Sithalapakkam branch of Dessin, a vibrant art centre nurturing young artistic talent. Her work at BANDA—the dedicated art space of Dessin in Sithalapakkam—draws strength from her Montessori philosophy and extensive experience working with children with special needs. These elements converge in her teaching, where creativity becomes a powerful tool for transformation and self-expression.

Supporting her mission is a team of qualified fine arts teachers from Tamil Nadu Fine Arts University, who bring formal artistic expertise and diverse visual styles into the classroom.
