It is presently located in the campus of the Tamil Nadu Government Music College on the banks of the Adyar River. The Government of Tamil Nadu has also allotted 12.720 hectares of land at Sozhinganallur, Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu, exclusively for this University.
