Dessin Academy is a full-fledged Drawing Coaching institute with more then 60 branches all over Chennai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Karaikudi, Madurai, Bangalore and Andaman & Nicobar Island.
Dessin Academy is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Music and Fine Arts University, Chennai (Off-Campus Centre) from the year 2016.

Kalaivalarmani Mr. R.Rajendran, the founder of “Dessin Academy” was born and raised in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. At a very young age Mr.R.Rajendran showed a knack for art. Through careful observation and his art teacher Mr.SukumarMondal’s mentoring, he nurtured his natural talent. Later on through the guidance of Mr.AlokAdikari, he joined Government College of Fine Arts, Chennai and graduated with a Masters Degree majoring in Painting in the year 2009. In Chennai he was guided by artists Mr.S.Elayaraja, Mr.S.Sivabalan and Mr.Manoharan. He has exhibited his works widely with a number of solo and group exhibitions. Indian traditional elephants are focused dominantly in the paintings of Mr.R.Rajendran. However, also having a passion for children, he elected for a career in teaching. He believes that the ability to paint lies within us. Over the years he has shared his passion for drawing and painting by offering classes to beginners. With his guidance and patience, he has been able to bring out each person’s creativity.
Mrs. Sudha Rajendran, B.A (Tamil) hails from Andaman, born in the year 1989, she graduated from the Alagappa University, Karaikudi in the year 2009. She further did her Teacher’s Training. Her special interests are in Child Psychology and Art. After her marriage, she took training from her husband Mr.Rajendran and has been teaching art since 2010. She is now pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts (Painting) from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
