BFA (Painting)

Bachelors of Fine Arts



AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting), programme simply means imparting fine art education. The primary aim of this programme is to help students identify their own subject matter and to develop the formal language appropriate to its expression: What the language will be and whether representational, abstract or otherwise will emerge from the student’s exploration and understanding of both historical precedent and contemporary context. It explores and gives the students exposure and wide opportunities to understand and train ones talent and aptitude in the creative field so as to make a good professional in areas of Art and Design in the industry.

DURATION OF THE COURSE:
The course shall extend over a period of three years comprising of annual pattern (calendar year extends from January to December or July to June including admission and examination period for each year. Examinations shall be conducted at the end of every year for the respective subjects.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO THE COURSE:
• Candidate for admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts course shall be required to have completed the +2 standard examinations.
• There is no age limit for admission.

Master of Fine Arts



ABOUT THE COURSE:
The program serves as a platform for motivated and creative artists to pursue their own goals and advance personal vision through intense, focused and individual studio activity. The main goal is to help students to work independently in a distinctive and a professional manner. The course also gives an insight into new prospects of painting in a digital era on the basis of a reflective and critical attitude.

OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE:
• To prepare students to conceptualise and interpret ideas into actual work of art. • To study local, folk, tribal and traditional art and to work towards its upliftment. • To prepare the student for the professional scenario with relevance to practical needs and requirements. • To nurture and condition the students to represent their creative skills with ease.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO THE COURSE:
Candidates with a degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts or any other equivalent degree are eligible to apply for the program. There is no age limit for the candidates.

• Candidate for admission to the P G DIPLOMA IN PAINTING course shall be required to have completed any bachelor degree. • There is no age limit for admission. Candidates with a degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts or any other equivalent degree are eligible to apply for the program. There is no age limit for the candidates.

Certificate in Fine Arts



DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE:
The program imparts a brief knowledge on art and is designed for a short duration of time. It is planned in such a way that it would satisfy the needs of students across different age groups. The purpose of the course is to educate the students on the basic fundamentals of art. The main goal is to help the learners to develop their artistic skills. This six-month schedule will help our pupils to learn the most important aspects of drawing and painting. Objective: Eligibility for admission to the course:
